Bangalore: Seven passengers died and three others were critical when a Bangalore to Mumbai bus caught fire early this morning.
Twentytwo others also suffered burn injuries and have been admitted to hospital.
The bus caught fire near Haveri.
Police and local residents rescued the trapped passengers from inside the bus.
There were 49 passengers inside the bus.
The bus (no. KA 01AC 8642) belonged to National Travels and it caught fire at around 3 am.
