Motihari: Eleven persons have died due to a mysterious disease in Sugauli near Bahurupia in East Champaran district in the past 24 hours.
The bodies of the victims have been sent for post-mortem. District authorities are trying to find out the main cause of deaths.
Details are awaited. Nine persons died in different families on Monday, while two succumbed early Tuesday morning, police said.
The state health department has been alerted.
