Days after the attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Buxar, the union government has reportedly accorded him Z-plus security .
Nitish Kumar’s convoy was attacked in the Nandar village of Buxar district on January 12.
A group of villagers had attacked the Bihar chief minister’s cavalcade and pelted stones on Jan 12 when he was returning after attending a meeting during his Vikas Smaiksha Yatra.
Two of his security men had sustained injuries in the attack.
Nitish Kumar is on a state-wide tour since December 12 to take stock of the implementation and progress of state government's development schemes over the years.
