In a tragic incident, several people were left injured after a viewers' gallery collapsed during a Kabaddi match at Mallanayakana Katte village in Karnataka's Mandya district, police said on Saturday.
The mishap took place when a large number of spectators had gathered to watch the match. The injured have been admitted to a hospital and are undergoing treatment. No casualties have been reported as of yet.
The police said that a probe is underway.
