After breaking all box-office records, Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 sets new TV record

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Baahubali 2 set a mammoth box-office record and now, the epic drama has pulled off a new Television record. Starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannah Bhatia and Ramya Krishna, Baahubali: The Conclusion had its world television premiere on October 8. The film’s Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions were premiered on Sony MAX, Vijay and Star Maa at 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm, respectively, on Sunday. The result was just historic as the film went on to set a new TRP record, beating Salman Khan starrer Tubelight and SS Rajamouli's directorial venture Magadheera.

Baahubali  2 managed to get 26,054 impressions, as compared to Salman’s Tubelight, which was way behind in second place with 5,195 impressions, according to the Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC),

While the film achieved a whopping 26054 impressions, Salman Khan’s Tubelight, which premiered on Star Gold got just 5195 impressions. Main Hoon Surya Singham 2 is on third position with 5,030. Sooryvansham is on the fourth position with 4,456 and the fifth position is occupied by  Ally Arjun starrer ‘Son of Satyamurthy’(S/O Sathyamurthy) with 4,351.

Meanwhile, Baahubali Prabhas recently talked about his character and said, “"I don't want to break out of the image. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I got and I want to keep it all my life”.

Prabhas attained fame as Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali from the "Baahubali" universe -- which went on to become India's biggest blockbuster with worldwide earnings of over Rs 900 crore.
