Los Angeles, July 25: Actress Amanda Bynes is reportedly broke and came here as she couldn't find a place to live in New York due to her bizarre behaviour.
The 27-year-old, who is being held under an involuntary psychiatric hold in a hospital for a mental evaluation, allegedly flew back because she couldn't access any of her money.
Bynes was arrested for setting up a small fire in a stranger's driveway in California Monday.
"The 27-year-old actress decided to return to LA because she had run out of money she had access to. Amanda was unable to find any place to live in New York City because of her bizarre behaviour," radaronline.com quoted a source as saying.
"No one would rent an apartment to her. She does own a house in Calabasas, California. It's unclear how she got to California from New York," the source added.
