Los Angeles, Feb 3: The members of Girls Aloud band have reportedly banned drinking alcohol around them in order to help their colleague Sarah Harding.

Harding is recovering from her alcohol addiction and her fellow band members - Cheryl Cole, Kimberly Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts - are doing every possible thing to support her.

"The girls have decided to ban alcohol altogether in support of Sarah. She's still dealing with her alcohol problem two years on - and they've decided to ban it out of respect to her," thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

"Tour staff - including dancers - are included in the ban. So if anyone wants a drink after the show, they will have to leave the arena area to do so as it's completely banned in the dressing rooms," the source added.

Harding's alcohol addiction started after parting ways with ex-boyfriend DJ Tom Crane in 2011 and even though she has shown signs of improvement, her bandmates are not taking any risks with her health.

"It's only fair - they don't want her falling off the wagon and going back to how she was after she split from Tom," the source said.

The band reunited after 10 years in October last year and gearing up for a tour in Britain.
