On the professional front, Janhvi made her Bollywood debut last year with Dhadak, co-starring Ishaan Khatter. The movie, which was Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat was directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar. On the other hand, Sara debuted in the last month of the year but enthralled the audience with back-to-back two films. She was first seen in Kedarnath, co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput and later in Rohit Shetty's Simmba. Kedarnath was directed by Abhishek Kapoor and released after much delay.
