Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan opens up on Me Too Movement: It is better late than never

It's been more than two weeks of shocking revelations in the Hindi film industry as several Bollywood biggies have been accused of sexual misconduct. Several celebrities such as Nana Patekar, Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, Vikas Bahl and Sajid Khan have been accused of sexual assault. In the wake of Me Too Movement, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has taken to social media to speak on the issue.

The veteran writer supported and appreciated the victims for at least being vocal on this issue. He even shamed the people and the culprits and said against offenders.

"The only defence they have is "Why so late ?” It is better late than never. You don’t have to wait for the result, you have already won great public support. Aadmi pahad se gir kar khadda ho sakta hai…apni nazron se girkar nahin”, Salim Khan wrote in a tweet.

Recently, Salman Khan took to Twitter and shared a picture of his father Salim Khan from his younger days. Salman captioned the image as, “My daddy the hamsommest!”

When Salman Khan was asked to comment on the same during an event, he said that he is not aware of the varsity of the case. Well, same with Amitabh Bachchan who in fact went on to say that he is neither Tanushree Dutta (who accused Nana Patekar of harassment) nor Nana to comment.
