Rita Bhaduri was last seen in Nimki Mukhiya as Imarti Devi. She breathed her last in a hospital on Tuesday morning.

Popular Indian actress Rita Bhaduri breathed her last on Tuesday morning after being admitted to a hospital for over 10 days. The actress who was last seen as Imarti Devi in Star Bharat’s TV show Nimki Mukhiya was suffering from kidney ailment for a long time. Raazi actor Shishir Sharma took to his Facebook to share the sad news of her death. He wrote, “We deeply regret to inform you that Reeta Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. The funeral rites will be held on 17th July, Tuesday at 12 noon at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Parshiwada, Chakala, Andheri East. Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being .. a mother to many of us.. will miss u Ma…”

Rita Bhaduri was an Indian film actress also a television actress. She appeared as a supporting actress in many Bollywood movies between 1970-90. She is most popularly known for her films like Sawan Ko Aane Do, a Rajshri Productions film and Raja, for which she even bagged a Filmfare Award nomination for the Best Supporting Actress.

Rita Bhaduri also played Julie’s best friend in hit film Julie. The song Yeh Raatein Nayi Purani was picturized on her.

Bhaduri was also associated with the Gujarati film industry even though she doesn’t belong to Gujarat. She has been an exceptionally successful actress in Gujarati film industry. He has acted in more than 71 films in Indian cinema.

She played important roles in many TV serials including the hit 90’s show Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, Amanat, Hum Sab Baraati, Hasratein.

Rita Bhaduri played Shantidevi Purohit in Rubina Dilaik’s debut show Choti Bahu.

She was last seen in Nimki Mukhiya, which airs on Star Bharat. According to the reports, she was suffering from a serious kidney ailment.
