Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is a livewire of energy. He leaves his fans impressed with his antics and quirky outfits. The actor, who is currently riding high on Padmaavat success has many interesting projects in the pipeline including Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, Rohit Shetty's Simmba and Kabir Khan's '83.
Ranveer, who garnered immense appreciation for his portrayal of menacing character of Sultan Alauddin Khilji has now bagged another big opportunity. The actor will be performing at the inaugural ceremony of 11th edition of the Indian Premier League. Wait, that's not the news. What is making the buzz is the hefty sum that Ranveer has charged for his 15 minutes performance. The Padmaavat actor will reportedly be paid Rs 5 crore for a 15-minute dance performance.
The opening ceremony is on April 7 and Ranveer will be seen shaking a leg at the event. A source told Hindustan Times, ''He will be shaking a leg for about 15 minutes, but the organising team was always clear that they wanted Ranveer as a performer and that’s why he has been offered such a huge amount. His appeal cuts across cities, age-groups and has an equally big fan following among men and women. That's why the organisers felt that he is the perfect fit for the performance at this year's IPL opening ceremony.''
The actor is taking out some time from his busy schedule to practice dance steps. Ranveer's high octane energy is loved by his fans and we are sure that it will be a delight to watch.
