Bollywood remembers immortal Mohd Rafi on his 93rd birth anniversary. Check what they tweeted

Bollywood gets nostalgic remembering the legendary singer Mohd Rafi on his 93rd birth anniversary. On account of his birth anniversary, many Bollywood celebrities tweeted paying respect to the most melodious singer the Indian music industry ever had. Celebs like Lata Mangeshkar, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff used words like ‘immortal’, ‘kind’ and ‘gentle’ to describe the melody king Mohd Rafi.

Born on December 24, 1924, Rafi ventured into the Indian music industry as a playback singer in 1941 and never looked back till his sudden death in 1980 at the age of 55. He is best known for his songs like "Yeh duniya yeh mehfil", "Chura liya hai tumne", "Tum jo mil gaye ho" and "Kya hua tera wada".

Search engine Google also dedicated its doodle to Rafi showing him recording in a studio, while actors are lip syncing onscreen.
