Kartik Aaryan has become one of the most sought-after Bollywood actors after his sleeper hit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which released last year. The actor has been trending since then with huge fan base among girls so much so that Sara Ali Khan has a crush on him. As his first Rs 100 crore blockbuster Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety completes a year, Kartik took to Instagram to share a throwback video. In the adorable clip, the actor is celebrating the film's success with his mamma. The mother-son duo can be seen grooving to the chartbuster Dil Chori from the film. The viral clip proves that Kartik is a mamma's boy. Along with the clip, he wrote, ''#SonuKeTituKiSweety has given several lifetime memories and this is one of them. #DilChori with Mummy!!''

Directed by Luv Ranjan, the story revolved around Sonu, played by Kartik, who is quite possessive for his friend Titu (Sunny Singh). Sonu puts all his effort in separating Titu from his fiancée Sweety (Nushrat Bharucha) when he realises that she is not suitable for his friend.

The film became quite popular among youth and its feet-tapping numbers expanded its reach. It went on to mint Rs 108 crore at the domestic box office.

Even after becoming an overnight star, Kartik's priorities haven't changed. He still looks for meatier roles. Recently, in an interview with Mid-day, the actor revealed that he was offered a role for Rs 10 crore, however, he turned it down as money and glamour are not his priorities. “I was offered Rs 10 crore for a film post Sonu, but I just didn't see myself in it, so turned it down. I don't need money right now. I am no longer in a place where I desperately need money to survive. Now, money and glamour are by-products of what I do,'' Kartik said.

Kartik is currently busy promoting his film Luka Chuppi, co-starring Kriti Sanon. The rom-com produced by Dinesh Vijan is slated to hit theatres on March 1. He is shooting for Pati Patni Aur Woh remake and will also romance Disha Patani in Anees Bazmee's directorial.
