On the occasion of late pop star's 60th birth anniversary, veteran actor Anupam Kher remembered how meeting the 'king of pop' was one of the biggest highlights of his life.

Anupam Kher remembers King Of Pop, Michael Jackson on his 60th birth anniversary

Anupam Kher has been in the news for the controversies surrounding his upcoming film The Accidental Prime Minister. Even when the film is amidst the pool of troubles, Anupam Kher didn’t forget to wish King of pop Michael Jackson. On the occasion of late pop star's 60th birth anniversary, veteran actor Anupam Kher remembered how meeting the 'king of pop' was one of the biggest highlights of his life.

The 63-year-old took to social media to thank the 'thriller' hit-maker for his eternal music and showmanship. Hr shared a picture with Michael Jackson and captioned it as, “Happy 60th Birthday #MichaelJackson. Meeting you in Mumbai will always remain one of the biggest highlights of my life. Thank you for your eternal music and showmanship. #MichaeInMumbai #HandshakeIWillNeverForget”

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff also paid a dancing tribute to the pop legend. He shared a video dancing like the pop star and wrote, “Happy birthday to the reason i do what i do.”

Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, at age 50 from an overdose of the anaesthetic propofol and sedatives. His physician who administered the drugs, Conrad Murray, was charged with involuntary manslaughter.

On the related note, Anupam Kher fans have to wait for his upcoming film The Accidental Prime Minister as its release has been stopped over unpaid dues. Based on Sanjaya Baru's book 'The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh', the movie was slated to release on December 21 this year.
