Mumbai, Mar 10: Actress Zarine Khan says she has put debut film Veer's failure behind her and is set to bounce back with a 360 degree makeover in Salman-Asin starrer 'Ready',where she will be seen gyrating to a scintillating dance number with the superstar, besides doing a cameo.

"The cameo in Ready was contemporary and an opportunity to portray the real side of me..fun and energetic..as compared to the Rajput princess in the period drama," Zarine told PTI.Refusing to divulge any details of her role, Zarine said she did not want to let out the suspense.

About the dance number she said, "It is a glamorous love song picturised in a Bangkok club and is choreographed by Raju Khan and Mudassar Khan. I have rehearsed for almost a week before going to Bangkok. I am looking forward to the audience response to my dance and as well as the film."

Zarine, who was seen as Katrina Kaif's lookalike before her debut last year, says presence of Salman Khan as the lead in 'Ready' was also one of the reason she accepted the film.

"I look up to Salman and he has been a great help and guiding force in my career. Whatever I am today in movies is because of him," she said adding that she had only one scene with Salman in Ready.Speaking about Veer, Zarine said even though she had a lot of hopes from the film , she was not disappointed.

"Even senior actors pin lot of hopes on their every new release. I am not disappointed because I got a big movie and a huge star like Salman in my debut. I consider it a boost to my career. I consider box office performance of any film as fate. But, I am thankful to the audience for accepting me," she said.

The actress said she was in talks with directors and was picking projects cautiously."I had not disappeared after Veer. I was doing endorsements and stage shows. What came my way after Veer was not exciting," she added. PTI
