Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had to pay a Rs 50,000 fine recently to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for putting up an illuminated Ra.One hoarding on the glass facade of his company's building without permission.
On June 2, the licence department of H-West Ward office slapped a notice on Tuscany Properties Pvt Ltd, which belongs to SRK and wife Gauri Khan and asked them to pay a fine of Rs 50,000 within seven days to avoid further action.
The company had put up a 110 x 92 feet vinyl hoarding on the building at Ramakrishna Mission Marg in Khar (West).
