Mumbai, Oct 5 : Mumbai police on Thursday night took into custody noted reality show director Gajendra Singh for execution of a non-bailable warrant issued by a Kanpur court on cheating charge.
Singh, who has directed chart-topper shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and several others, was taken into custody in Versova by Mumbai police and will be handed over to UP police.
Though senior police officials are tightlipped, but a police source said Singh was to appear in a Kanpur court in connection with a cheating case filed against him.
