New Delhi: The news which dominated tabloids yesterday was the break up of Bollywood's ‘IT' couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Rumours of the couple heading towards a break up had been doing the rounds of the media for quite some time now.
But, the most surprising element in their break up is that Katrina consulted ex-lover superstar Salman Khan before calling it quits with Ranbir.
Now, with the Salman Khan angle out in the public domain, we cannot negate the fact that he might have influenced Katrina's decision.
If media reports are to be believed, Katrina had a two hour discussion with former friend Salman. They recently met at a film studio and bonded with each other, just like old times. On the same day, January 9th, Ranbir and Katrina stopped shooting for Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos.

According to a leading entertainment portal, Ranbir and Katrina followed a ritual that they always visited the latter's family during Christmas. They missed it this year and instead posed for shutterbugs at the Kapoor family Christmas brunch hosted by veteran actor Shashi Kapoor.
Also, Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor not attending her family's get-together fuelled break-up rumours of the couple.
Though, both Ranbir and Katrina have decided to stay tight lipped about the break up but we can expect them to open up soon.
