New Delhi: Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut who has created a niche for herself by playing some performance oriented roles. The actress has reportedly been roped in to play the role of tragedy queen Meena Kumari.
Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia who had taken Kangana in his last film 'Revolver Rani' has once again approached Kangana for the role of Meena Kumari.
According to Mumbai Mirror's latest report the film is an adaption of late journalist Vinod Mehta's book - 'Meena Kumari: The Classic Biography'. Along with the makers of the film, Sunil Bohra has approached Kangana for the role.
As quoted by the leading daily, a source reveals, "Kangana is looking at her date diary and is hoping to accommodate the film in August-September. The research has begun and a formal announcement will be made soon."
Apart from the role of that Kangana has been approached for; she will be next seen in Nikhil Advani's 'Katti Batti'. Kangana has played some really strong roles in the films like - 'Gangster', 'Fashion' and 'Queen'.
