New Delhi: Actor Dileep's upcoming film “Life of Josootty” will mark motion picture company Eros International's foray into the Malayalam market.
The comedy-drama, which has been directed by Jeethu Joseph, is being co-produced by Jayalal Menon and Anil Biswas's Backwater Studios. It's likely to release in June, said a statement.
Apart from Dileep, the film stars Rachana Narayanankutty, Jyothikrishna, Harish Peradi, Sunil Sugatha, Suraj Vengharamoodu and Kalabhavan Mani in pivotal roles.
Jeethu and Dileep have joined hands once again after their hit pairing in the film “My Boss”.
“Life of Josootty” is set against the backdrop of a family with a fantasy edge. The film went on the floors Jan 2 and will be shot in Idukki in Kerala and New Zealand.
Commenting on its association with the film, Sunil Lulla, managing director, Eros International Media Ltd, said: "We are very excited to enter the prolific Malayalam market by associating with prominent talent like Jeethu Joseph and Dileep.”
