New Delhi: 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' hosted by Kapil Sharma celebrated 1000 glorious weeks of 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' at Mumbai's Maratha Mandir theatre.
The show witnessed the cast of the cult film, including Shah Rukh Khan, coming together to re-live the moments of their evergreen movie.
As quoted by a leading website sources close to the show said, “The episode has been shot and the entire DDLJ team had a blast during the shoot. All of them shared their memories about the film.”
Also, the episode seems to be fun-frolic because SRK and Kajol, who are great buddies, added more charm to the comedy show with their wittiness and sense of humor.
Shah Rukh and Kajol's blockbuster film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' is still running at Maratha Mandir theatre and on December 12th Bollywood's most adored love story will complete 1000 weeks.
Kajol looked beautiful in a white dress, SRK on the other hand looked dapper in a suit. It's been almost 2 decades since DDLJ's release, but it seems like time has stood still for our Raj and Simran who have retained their stardom.
Anupam Kher tweeted the pictures from the show. He wrote, “Shot a Roller Coaster, Hilarious, Emotional & Nostalgic episode of @CNWKOfficial.:) #ThousandweeksofDDLJ. All of us Missed Yash ji & Amrish Puri ji very badly during the shoot.”
Also seen is Pooja Ruparel, who played Kajol's sister Rajjo, Mandira Bedi, who had played madly-in-love-with-raj character Preeti and Farida Jalal, who played Simran's mom in the Aditya Chopra directorial.
The pictures shared by Kher on his Twitter profile stated that how much everyone missed late filmmaker Yash Chopra and actor Amrish Puri on the sets.
Yash Chopra had produced the film and Aditya Chopra made his debut as a director with DDLJ.
The star cast of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, the film that set a trend which has not been able to be matched by any other, celebrates 1000 weeks since it was released on Comedy nights With Kapil with weekend.
The cast of DDLJ had a very emotional meet on the show as they indulged in past memories from the shooting and share several stories with the audience as well.
The film continues to be seen by people in Maratha Mandir theatre even today.
