 4. Aishwarya Rai: When Umrao Jaan was remade in 2006, the whole country was comparing Aishwarya to Rekha. While she may have not been as convincing as Rekha, we can't deny she looked absolutely stunning and elegant in the film.

‘Salaam' was a beautiful number that Aishwarya will best be remembered for from the movie. Besides, her performance in the song ‘Kajra Re' from ‘Bunty Aur Babli', which is quite twist to the classic Mujra was remarkable.

The song was a chartbuster of the time of release.



 5. Madhuri Dixit: The dancing queen of Bollywood did a wonderful job of playing a ‘tawaif' in Devdas. We wonder how many hearts her song ‘Maar Daala' wounded.

No one else in the industry would have match the elegance and poise with which Madhuri did the song.
 


6. Rani Mukherji: Rani Mukherji had a small part in the period film Mangal Pandey, but she made a big impact with her mujra number ‘Main Vari Vari'.

She looked spectacular in a pink and gold costume. She made the most of her small role in the movie.



 7. Sushmita Sen: Doesn't matter how boring ‘Kisna' was, Sushmita made up for the drab movie with her beautiful number ‘Chilman Uthegi Nahin'.

Sushmita Sen had a small role in ‘Kisna: The Warrior Poet' as Naima Begum and she danced to the much forgettable number ‘Chilman Uthegi Nahi'.
