The sequel to the hit comedy ‘Dhamaal' will have two Bollywood actresses Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy.
When Dhamaal 2 was announced, the producers had insisted it will not have any females playing lead roles, but suddenly this has changed. Three months before shooting is to start, two heroines have been added to the project. The producers claim that the change was made, because as the script developed, they realised the need for a female lead. The makers' first choices are Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy for the two main roles.
Industry insiders maintain that the female lead actors were added on the insistence of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. Dhamaal also starred Ritesh Deshmukh, Javed Jaffery and Ashish Chowdhary.
