Allahabad, Sep 5 : An advocate on Tuesday filed a complaint under Sec 156(3) of Criminal Procedure Code against Bollywood actor and Canadian porn star Sunny Leone. The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate has taken cognisance of the complaint.

The complainant has also included editors and publishers of magazines like Debonair, Maxim, Saras Salil and Smart Life as defendants in the case, on charge of publishing nude and semi-nude photographs of Sunny Leone.

Two dozens more models, whose semi-nude pics have been published in the magazines have been made defendants in this case.

The complainant has alleged in his petition that the magazines, by publishing nude and semi-nude pictures of Sunny Leone and other models  is encouraging sex among the younger generation and promoting lust. This trend has led to increase in the incidents of crime against women, the complainant pointed out in his petition.

The petition calls for filing of a case against the editors of these magazines at Civil Lines police station here under Sec 292 Indian Penal Cade and anti-obscenity law.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate after taking cognisance of the complaint has fixed October 11 to record the complainant's statement.
