New Delhi: Ever since Happy New Year released at Diwali none of the movies did wonder at box office despite big names attached to it. Almost a month later now, all eyes are on Ajay Devgn's Action Jackson, which is expected to end the dry spell at box office.
The movie, which is directed by Pradhudeva is attached with many expectations. Being a Ajay Devgn flick who recently gave blockbuster movie in the name of ‘Singham Returns', it is largely speculated that Action Jackson will perform much better than the ones released in past one and a half month.
Action movies have always found a mass audience in both multiplexes and single screen theatres. And if the promos are anything to go by, Action Jackson looks stuffed with edge of the seat action thriller, which guarantees a wholesome entertainment to the audience.
It's director Prabhu Deva who ever since has directed Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg', has been keenly looked forward by viewers and he hasn't disappointed them at all.
His last flicks namely R..Rajumar, Rowdy Rathore did a good business while the former also entered into Rs 100 cr club.
Now here ‘Action Jaskson' is a deadly combo of action director and action actor. However, there is a doubt that the film might not stand any where close to Kick, Bang Bang, Happy New Year or his own release ‘Singham Return' since the movie is releasing on a usual day and not on a festive ocassion. Moreover, the screen count for the movie is much less in comparison to above stated flicks.
According to a leading daily reports the Action Jackson, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam and debutant Manasvi Mamgai is going to have 3600 screen.
On the other hand, the promotion is also something to be worried about as the movie is not endorsed on a major platform.
Having said that this Ajay Devgn starrer couldn't be underestimated at all as the actor has a mass fan following and he is one of the most suited actors for action movies. In the end the least one could expect is that the movie's better performance than the past few releases like Kill Dil, Happy Ending and Ungli.
Now let us just keep our fingers crossed and see what happens when it finally releases this Friday.
