Mumbai: Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the star-studded Cinema Against Aids Gala at Cannes wearing a cream-coloured chikankari sari and an elaborately embroidered jacket in place of a choli.
Her hair was piled high on her head and adorned with a slender gold band, while her make-up was understated save the dark eyeliner around her eyes.
Due to her post-delivery weight, it was not feasible for Aishwarya to carry off in a westernized dress.
