Mumbai: Actress Genelia Deshmukh has begun shooting for her upcoming project, which will mark her return to acting after a gap of three years.
The 28-year-old actress was last seen in the lead role in 2012 film "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya" opposite husband Riteish Deshmukh.
Genelia, mother of one, took to Twitter to share her excitement about the first day of her shoot.
"On my way to shoot... Excited as hell... Been 3 years since I last shot but I have a feeling it's going to be a Good Good Day...," she tweeted.
Riteish wished her luck for her new venture. "It's going to be a Greattttt Dayyy - you were born for this," the actor tweeted to her.
Genelia was seen making guest appearances in superstar Salman Khan's 2014 film "Jai Ho" and her Marathi production "Lai Bhaari", which released last year.
