New Delhi: Birthday girl Deepika Padukone is on the top of her game right now. She is the undisputed queen of Bollywood at the present moment after delivering back to back super-hits with memorable performances. The talent of the actress is such that she tends to overshadow her male co-stars.
The ‘Om Shanti Om' star is going on the right track by choosing the right scripts. However, there are some movies that she had to reject due to various reasons. Although, these were the sure-shot blockbusters, Deepika decided to move on and take up new and interesting projects instead and we absolutely have no complaints. But, we wonder where would her career graph be right now if she would have done these films-
1- Prem Ratan Dhan Payo- It is not easy to say no when its Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan but Deepika had the courage to turn down such a big film. Instead she opted for ‘Bajirao Mastani'.
2- Dhoom 3- Any actress would have killed to be a part of the biggest franchise of Bollywood, especially when it has Mr. Perfectionist in it, but, because of her prior work commitments, Deepika turned down the offer to star opposite Aamir Khan. And Dhoom 3 saw Katrina Kaif as ‘Kamli'.
3- Jab Tak Hai Jaan- Although, the jodi of SRK-Katrina worked well in the film, but we feel that the ‘Chennai Express' jodi would have spilled more magic in this Yash Chopra directorial.
4- Kick- Somehow, Deepika manages to miss out on the opportunity of becoming a Salman Khan heroine. After she rejected the project, Jacqueline Fernandiz was signed for the flick which turned out to be huge grosser on the box office.
5- Fast and Furious 7- This could have been the biggest film of her career but the actress chose ‘Chennai Express' and ‘Ram-Leela' over the most popular franchise. But, the way these two films turned out, we are not complaining!
