Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who has been shooting in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan for last one month, has finished shooting for a major portion of the film. The film has been in the making for quite some time and is about child suicide bombers in Afghanistan, who have been trained to believe that killing is a virtue and glory is in an afterlife.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, “Sanjay Dutt completes major schedule of #Torbaaz in Kyrgyzstan… The 30-day shoot was held amidst tough weather conditions... Costars Rahul Dev, Nargis Fakhri and Rahul Mittra... Directed by Girish Malik... Raju Chadha presentation”.

Torbaaz revolves around the stories of child suicide bombers who are brainwashed in such a way that they think killing is a virtue. Earlier, Sanju said, ''I am keen to be a part of films that are highly content driven. I want to create a memorable slate of films for my fans.'' Interestingly, the movie will also have a song penned by Sanjay, titled, ''O Meri Aangan Ki Chidiya Hai Tu'' which is about father-daughter's relationship. Sanjay wrote five songs during his stay in Yerwada jail.

Sanjay Dutt made his comeback with Bhoomi, co-starring Aditi Rao Hydari, which received a lukewarm response. Currently, the actor is shooting for  Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
