Actor Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is one of the anticipated films of the year, courtesy its unique story. The trailer of the film was released yesterday and it indicated that the film is going to be another blockbuster in Akshay’s kitty. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha raises the issue of open defecation with humour and some powerful dialogues.

After giving blockbuster films like Jolly LLB 2, Airlift and Rustom, Akshay is all set to give boost to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Here are some powerful dialogues from the film that will not only make you laugh but will force you to think about the big problem that is going on in our society.

“Chalo sava chaar hogaye hai, sab intezaar kar rahe hai lota party mein tumhara welcome ka”

Keshav aka Akshay gets married to the love of his life played by Bhumi Pednekar. But, on the second day of her marriage she came to know that there is not a single toilet in her village.

"Jiss Aangan main tulsi lagate hai wahan shauch karna shuru karde"

When Keshav starts a revolution to build toilets in the village, his father gives a weird reaction. This dialogue raised another question. In India, we worship goddess but when it comes to women, people allow them to defecate in open. It is the mentality of many people that needs to be changed.

"Unhone toh meri kismat ghusalkhaane mein likhi hogi, aur upar se flush aur kardiya"

This will leave you in splits. Ever the humour in the film revolves around toilet and it is Akshay, who can make it look better.

“Aashiqo ne Aashiqui ke liye Taj Mahal bana diya, hum ek sandas na bana sake"

Akshay can be seen in a serious avatar fighting with the authorities to make 'Shauchalaya' in his village. In the ancient times, Shah Jahan made Taj Mahal but now, the time has changed. Well, the dialogue said it all.

“Biwi paas chahiye toh sandaas chahiye”

It is only Akshay, who can make funny dialogue funnier. It is quite evident from the trailer that the movie has something new in store for all cinema lovers.

The film has the blockbuster written all over it. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is all set to release on August 11.
