Swara Bhaskar reveals the ‘big’ lesson she has learn from Bollywood

Swara Bhaskar has opened up on her journey in Bollywood and mentioned that the industry has taught her a major lesson of her life.

The actress, who has been lauded for her performance in her last release ‘Nil Battey Sannata’, stated that actors are judged on the basis of their looks in Bollywood.

Swara during an interactive session with her fans on micro-blogging site Twitter that one cannot avoid this mentality in the tinselvile and that your appearance is your only card.

She tweeted, “That you are judged on your looks. There's no avoiding it so might as well play the game”.

She also made another tweet saying, “Taught me the meaning of and how to follow the adage 'when in Rome do as the Romans do”.

Swara also spoke about how her 2013 release ‘Ranjhana’ starring Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush in the lead, had a deep effect on her.

The actress said, “It changed me emotionally. Made me feel the insanity and pure hopefulness of love. also Developed an unexplained”.

“Faith. Started going to temples in Banaras though I'm not a ritualistic person,” she added.

Swara Bhaskar will soon be seen in Rhea Kapoor’s upcoming movie ‘Veere Di Wedding’. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the movie also features Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shikha Talsania in lead roles.
