When Sonakshi Sinha got injured on the sets of ‘Akira’ (see pic)

New Delhi: It looks like yesterday only when actress Sonakshi Sinha made her debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ in 2010. Ever since then the actress has stunned the audience with her versatile roles.

New Delhi: It looks like yesterday only when actress Sonakshi Sinha made her debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ in 2010.

Ever since then the actress has stunned the audience with her versatile roles. But it was lately that the ‘Dabangg’ girl created a buzz with her upcoming movie.

Sonakshi will soon be seen in ‘Akira’ in which she will play an action packed adventurous role.

In fact the first teaser poster of ‘Akira’ displayed junior Shotgun in a fearless and determined look

The actress underwent extensive training for her role in ‘Akira’ and learnt martial arts for the movie.

While Sona is working hard for the movie, doing an action movie is not a cake walk as it does get dangerous at times.

The actress shared a pic on her Twitter account from the sets of ‘Akira’ in which she is shows her bruised arm and refer to her injury as battle scars.

Sonakshi captioned the image as, “Battlescars r meant to be worn with pride! A memento frm when i was shooting an action scene for #Akira! (Throwback)”.

Earlier, Sona mentioned that Akshay Kumar had advised her to save herself from injuries before she started shooting for ‘Akira’.

She said, “The biggest tip he (Akshay) gave me was ‘injuries se bach kay rehna’, which I wasn’t able to follow. He is a very sensible person when it comes to understanding proper form about martial arts.”

But looks like her hard work is paid off well as the trailer of ‘Akira’ is receiving rave views from the audience.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, ‘Akira’ also features Anurag Kashyap in a negative role. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on September 2, 2016.
