6 Years of Dabangg: Fans remember the iconic Chulbul Pandey!

The 2010 release ‘Dabangg’ put superstar Salman Khan on a high pedestal in Bollywood. This was the beginning of an era of him ruling the box office. After not so favourable results at box office before 2010, Salman starred in this movie which did wonders at the box office.

The Abhinav Kashyap directorial gave cine buffs a character that would stay with them for long ever after they leave theatres. Chulbul Pandey, Salman’s character, was showered with love.

The way Salman danced with his belt, the dialogues of the movie, the action sequences, all contributed towards making it a hit. This movie also served as the best start any actress could have wished for, and Sonakshi Sinha got it.

Post Dabangg, every movie which Salman has been a part of has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club. With his last release ‘Sultan’, Salman now has 10 movies in the club. It would not be wrong to say that the career of the 50-year old superstar is divided into two fragments, pre and post ‘Dabangg’. Definitely, Salman has to thank this movie for changing the course of his career.

As ‘Dabangg’ completes 6 years since release, fans took to Twitter to share dialogues, pics and GIFs from the movie. Have a look:
