Actor Ranveer Singh is riding high on success after his latest release Padmaavat did wonderful business at the box office. He was heaped with praises for his spectacular performance and now the actor has shared another pic in the look of Alauddin Khilji on his social media and needless to say it is deadly. Well, it goes without saying that nobody could ever think of anyone else in this role other than Ranveer. The film also featured Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.

Ranveer took to social networking site Instagram and shared the image. He captioned it as, “#khilji #padmaavat.”

Not only movie lovers but many celebs lauded Ranveer for his menacing act in the film. In fact, megastar Amitabh Bachchan sent him flowers and handwritten notes. Recently, superstar Shah Rukh Khan also praised the film. 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat has been in limelight right from the first day. Various religious group alleged distortion of historical facts. After lots of struggle, the film was released and now it has shattered the box office. It has become highest grossers of Ranveer and Shahid.

Padmaavat was earlier scheduled to clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man. However, after Bhansali requested Khiladi Kumar, the release date of Pad Man was pushed to February 9.
