It’s been just a couple of months when director Omung Kumar was praised for his last release ‘Sarabjit’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda.
And now the director has announced his third directorial – ‘Five’.
Omung is quite excited for movie and stated that he has been preparing for it for several years now. He also mentioned that ‘Five’ will be a totally different movie for him.
There has been a buzz that the director has roped in superstar Akshay Kumar for the movie. In fact, if the media reports are to be believed, Akshay Kumar will star in five roles in "Five". However, no official announcement has been made in this regard.
Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh, who produced Omung's last directorial "Sarbjit", are back together again for the psychological thriller.
In a joint statement, they said: "Omung Kumar's 'Five' will raise the bar with its exciting storyline, fantastic music, and its unique setting."
The music will be composed by Mithoon, Jeet Gannguli and Amaal Mallik, screenplay by Utkarshini Vashishtha and the director of photography is Ravi Varman.
‘Five’ is expected to release on January 26, 2018.
