Actress Kiara Advani who received much appreciation for her role in “MS Dhoni-The Untold Story” recently said that she will soon meet veteran actress Raveena Tandon as she will feature in the recreated version of popular song "Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast".

The upcoming Abbas-Mastan directed film "Machine" features the revamped version of the song that starred Akshay Kumar and Raveena.

While it was originally sung by Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy, the new version has Neha Kakkar crooning the duet with Udit Narayan.

The "MS Dhoni" actress, who features in the song along with Mustafa, son of Abbas, hopes Raveena will like the song.

"I will meet her (Raveena) soon. She is the first person I would be showing rushes of the song to. I am very curious and a little nervous to know her feedback. Though it is very different from the original. We don't even want to touch that because it is iconic," Kiara told PTI.

The 24-year-old actress says shooting the song was "surreal".

"It was surreal because I was standing in front of the camera to shoot for a song that I used perform looking in the mirror. We have all danced on this. So, it was amazing to recreate this iconic song.

"We have kept it different because it has to match the situation and context in our film. It comes at a crucial time in the movie. It is part of the film and the sequence demanded such a song. We were fortunate to get it."

Besides "Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast", several iconic tracks like "Laila", "Humma Humma" and "Tamma Tamma" have been used in films recently.

Kiara says she is aware that there will be comparisonswith the original.

"It is impossible to recreate that but this is our version of the song. It's like our tribute, from kids who grew up in the '90s. I am waiting for it to come out and see the response.

Comparison is inevitable, I know there will be. But as of now I am just waiting for the song to be out."

"Machine" is scheduled to release on March 17.
