New Delhi: B-town is a place which has been a witness to several cold wars, break-ups and love affair. While most of the fights, splits and relationship are kept beneath the sheet, some grab the limelight and become the talk of the town.

One such ongoing cold war is between two of the leading divas of the industry.

We are talking about Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut.

The war of the words between both the actresses has always made it to the headlines. While Kangana Ranaut never shied away from commenting on the ‘Tamasha’ actress, Deepika has refrained from making disparaging comments on the Tanu weds Manu actor.

However, it seems Kangana is giving a real hard time to her rival DP now.

The ‘Queen’ actress recently bagged the National Award in the category of Best Actress for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’.

Though, everyone is happy with Kangana’s win, reportedly, there is person who isn’t pleased with this announcement.

Yes! It is Deepika Padukone.

According to the media reports, Deepika was expecting to win the National Award for her performance in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Piku’.

“She was really hurt by the National Awards snub. She had won all the popular awards for her performance in ‘Piku’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. She expected the National Award too. When it didn’t happen she lost her appetite to celebrate with her ‘Bajirao Mastani’ team,” a source reportedly told a leading daily.

On the other hand, the team of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ which won seven National Awards including Best Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali is in the celebratory mood.

But looks like Deepika Padukone is in no mood to celebrate this win of her colleagues and chose to give Bhansali’s party a miss.

Currently, Deepika Padukone is busy shooting for her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ opposite Vin Diesel, which is expected to release in January 2017.
