Hrithik to play protagonist in ‘Race 3’?

Ever since the news of ‘Race 3’ broke out, rumours surrounding the casting of male lead started doing rounds. After superstar Salman Khan, its actor Hrithik Roshan’s name that is being considered by the makers to play lead in the third instalment of the Race franchise.

A source revealed that Hrithik still has time to start work on Krrish 4, and post Kaabil release in January 2017, Race 3 could be his next venture.

Talking about Salman Khan a source informed that currently, the actor is busy shooting for ‘Tubelight’. After that he will caught up with work of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in 2017. The makers are planning to release ‘Race 3’ by 2018-end, and with the possibility of picking ‘Dabangg 3’ by the ‘Sultan’ actor for Eid 2018 his name might not be preferred by the makers.

According to an insider, Hrithik will start doing couple of films in a year. It is known to all that the Greek god’s had invested much time and energy for his last flick ‘Mohenjo Daro’. But, the flick doomed at box office. So now, after ‘Kaabil’, the actor is looking for some big project.

The handsome hunk was seen playing the role of an antagonist stylishly with some action sequences in ‘Dhoom 2’. If there is some truth to these rumours then the ‘Bang Bang’ star will entertain his fans for the first time in this franchise.

However, official statement for the same is yet to come.

Directed by Abbas–Mustan, ‘Race’ and ‘Race 2’ featured Saif Ali Khan as protagonist. Both the films did well at box-office.
