Hamid and Mere Pyare Prime Minister hit screens

It's Friday! Yay! Well, the most-awaited days of the week are knocking at our doors and we can't keep calm. Weekends plans are ready and watching a movie is a must-do in the list. Fridays are special in Bollywood as this is the day when filmmakers and actors get butterflies in their stomach. This is the day when all their hard work is out in the public for critical reviewing.

On March 15, four small-budget movies have hit the screens- all of them explore a different genre. However, one thing that is common among them is relationship. The basic idea of all the four films is relationship. While Photograph directed by Ritesh Batra is a story about how two people from different class come together, Hamid is a unique story of a young Kashmiri boy and CRPF jawan. On the other hand, Milan Talkies is a love story set in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, whereas, Mere Pyare Prime Minister again revolves around a small boy who writes a letter to PM after his mother gets raped

HAMID

Directed by Aijaz Khan, Hamid features Rasika Dugal, Vikas Kumar and Talha Arshad Reshi in important roles. The story revolves around 8-year-old Hamid who learns that 786 is God's number after losing his father. Hamid was premiered at the Jio MAMI 20th Mumbai Film Festival.

MERE PYARE PRIME MINISTER

This social drama has been directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and has Anjali Patil, Om Kanojiya, Atul Kulkarni, Makrand Deshpande, Niteesh Wadhwa and Rasika Agashe in important roles. It is the only Asian film to be screened at the Rome Film Festival.

MILAN TALKIES

This romantic drama directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia has been written by Dhulia himself along with Kamal Pandey. The movie features Ali Fazal, debutant Shraddha Srinath, Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles.

PHOTOGRAPH

Directed by Ritesh Batra, Photograph has Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles. While Nawaz plays the role of Rafi, Sanya is Miloni in the film. Photograph had its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and the European premiere at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival.
