The much awaited tenth season Bigg Boss is all set to launch this week, and looks like the star cast of popular daily soap on Star Plus ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is having a keen interest in the show.
As per the media reports two of the lead actors from the show has been approached to participate in Bigg Boss 10, which will be hosted by Salman Khan.
Terelvision actor Karan Mehra, who used to play the role of Naitik Singhania on the show, is said to have been approached for the show. Karan became a household name with his seven year long stint in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. The actor recently made parted his ways with the show owing to health issues.
Now with reports of Mehra being approached for BB10 doing the rounds, his exit from ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is being linked up with his participation in the reality show.
Karan Mehra, however, has rubbished the reports saying he has not been contacted for Bigg Boss 10 so far.
Earlier, Rohan Mehra, who plays the role of Naksh on ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, too was said to participate in BB10.
Reportedly, he will be soon leaving the daily soap to focus on the upcoming reality show, and has informed the production house about the same. On the other hand, the makers of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ are said to have begun the hunt for his replacement as well.
While the BB makers and Rohan are yet to make any official announcement in this regard, it is reported, that the young actor is quite excited to participate in Salman Khan’s show.
The industry reports suggest that Mehra wants to show a different avatar of himself on Bigg Boss 10, and has started preparing for the same as well.
Apparently, besides Karan Mehra, other television artists like Arjit Taneja, Nikita Dutta, Ssumier Pasricha, etc too are being speculated as one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 10.
Interestingly, the tenth season of Bigg Boss will also feature commoners along with celebs. The show will have 5 celebrities and 5 commoners fighting for the winning prize this time.
Bigg Boss 10 will be premiered on Colors Channel on October 16.
