Ahead of the release of ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ the director Nitya Mehra has said that the entire experience has been a joy ride for her.
Having assisted Hollywood director Ang Lee in "Life of Pi" and Mira Nair in "The Reluctant Fundamentalist", Nitya was also an assistant director to Farhan Akhtar for movies like "Lakshya" and "Don: The Chase Begins".
She has assisted Farhan for a decade, and it's been a period of learning for her.
"It's been exciting, nerve wracking and a great learning. I had immense support from an extremely passionate crew and actors that pampered me and my vision for this film.
"But right now I feel like I'm running against time... But we shall know when September 9 arrives. I think life is pretty much like a roller-coaster and this film has been one fabulous ride,
" Mehra said in a statement.
The movie is also special to her because it is being produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment as well as Dharma Productions.
