Shah Rukh Khan is back in action after almost a year and half in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. The film is based on a physically-challenged man Bauaa Singh who steps out to prove his worth to the word. The trailer, which was dropped on SRK’s birthday this year, has already taken the audience by surprise. The film also shows Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in a total different avatar. Shah Rukh Khan has portrayed plethora of characters on the silverscreen, ranging from a jilted lover to a psychologist. But never had he played the role of a dwarf in any of his film. It is oddly refreshing to see SRK in a totally different guise in Zero.
Anushka Sharma pushes boundaries with a challenging role
Anushka Sharma has raised the bar for herself with each of her film. Previously, she played the role of a possessed woman in Pari, then she went on to essay the role of an economically backward woman. And now, here we are, seeing Anushka Sharma as a NASA scientist who’s wheelchair-bound due to cerebral palsy.
