The National Testing Agency has released an important notice for the candidates for Silchar, Assam, who will be appearing for CUET UG 2024. As per the notice, the NTA has revised the assigned centers for select students of Assam. This decision was taken after Ranoj Pegu, Education Minister of Assams' letter to NTA about providing exam centres for CUET in Barak Valley.

NTA has scheduled the CUET UG 2024 exam for Bengali (104) and Environmental Studies (307) on May 29 in Silchar. The exam will now be conducted in a pen-and-paper mode. Such candidates who can't travel to distant places for exam now do not need to travel outside Silchar, Assam. NTA will release the admit cards to the concerned candidates in due course. The link to the CUET UG 2024 admit cards will be accessible at exams.nta.ac.in.

It should be noted that this facility is being provided only to those candidates who opted for Silchar as the exam centre and have received an admit card for another city due to logistic reasons. Also, those who have already reached their exam city as mentioned in the available admit card may appear for the exam on May 24.
