Shares of Studds Accessories Ltd made a tepid debut on Friday, November 7, 2025, with a discount of nearly 3 per cent against the issue price of Rs 585. The stock of the company started trading at Rs 570, 2.56 per cent lower than the issue price on the BSE. It further fell by 2.49 per cent to Rs 555.80. At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it opened at Rs 565, representing a 3.42 per cent discount. The counter later touched the low of Rs 560. However, it rebounded to trade in the green. Last seen, it was up 2.59 per cent from the listing price, and the market cap of the company stood at Rs 2,255.15 crore.

According to Investorgain, the last GMP for Studds Accessories IPO was Rs 45. Considering the upper price band of Rs 585, this indicated a listing price of Rs 630, a premium of 7.69 per cent.
Good response from investors
The shares of Studds Accessories made a muted debut despite a good response from investors. The initial public offer of helmets manufacturer Studds Accessories Ltd had received 73.25 times subscription on the final day of share sale on Monday. The company's Rs 455 crore IPO got bids for 39.92 crore (39,92,36,150) shares against 54.5 lakh (54,50,284) shares on offer, as per NSE data.
Among investors category, Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) part fetched 159.99 times subscription. The quota for non-institutional investors got subscribed 76.99 times and that of Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) attracted 22.09 times subscription.
Ahead of the IPO, Studds Accessories raised nearly Rs 137 crore from anchor investors. The company's IPO has a price band of Rs 557-585 per share, valuing it at around Rs 2,300 crore at the upper end of the range.
The IPO is only an offer for sale (OFS) of 77.86 lakh shares. Since the issue is entirely an OFS, Studds will not receive any proceeds, and all funds will go to the selling shareholders.
