CAA protests: 2 dead in WB's Murshidabad, 15 injured in Bihar's Sitamarhi
News | January 29, 2020 22:12 ISTCitizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens protests continued to hit India. At least two people died in WB's Murshidabad after clash broke out between supporters of pro and anti-CAA protests. The two deceased have been identified as Anirudh Biswas and Maqbool Sheikh. The protest took place on January 28. On the other hand, 15 people got injured in Bihar's Sitamarhi between two groups- one protesting against CAA and NRC and the other supporting it. Police personnel have been deployed in the area to control the situation.
