New Delhi:

Motorola just opened up its Android 17 Beta Programme to more devices, so now even more people can try out the latest Android features before everyone else. Folks in India, the US, Latin America, Brazil, and across EMEA can jump in and test-drive the new stuff.

Motorola Expands Android 17 Beta Programme

This is not just about letting users play around with beta software. Motorola actually wants people to help them spot bugs and polish the next Android update before it goes out to everyone.

Razr 60 Ultra, Edge 60 Pro Now Eligible in India

Users with the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and Edge 60 Pro in India and select global markets can now sign up. They will be allowed to join the beta list along with some earlier additions, like the Moto G57 Power (in India), Moto G57 (EMEA), and Moto Edge 2025 (in the US).

The company is also letting in Signature users from Brazil, Latin America and EMEA, plus Razr Ultra (2025) owners in the US.

With these updates, Motoral is widening the beta crowd gradually, across different regions and various price points.

Still, Motorola is not letting everyone in. You might sign up, but only a selected handful of users will be getting the Android 17 Beta 1 update. So, in case you are picked, you will get a notification when it is ready to download. They do this to keep things stable while they are testing out new features.

So, what do you actually get from the Android 17 Beta?

For those who do not know, early access to new features, a fresh look, improved performance and bug fixes before everyone else. But since it is a beta version, users may expect a few glitches or hiccups, or at times, it might crash, as these new builds are not perfect – they are still developing and improving. They are really meant for power users or developers who do not mind some rough edges.

For those who keep track, they are aware that the Google Pixel 10 series is already running on the latest Android 17 beta, with regular updates being rolled out, that focuses mostly on making things smoother.

Thinking about installing the beta?

If you love getting your hands on new tech right away, go ahead and sign up—it is a fun way to see what is coming next.

But if you just want your smartphone to work reliably, then hang back and wait for the stable version – do not rush. By doing this, you may avoid any headache from glitches.
