Xioami Redmi Note 7 is already up for sale in China and will be making its global debut soon, including India. With Redmi Note 7 already available in China, another variant of the phone called the Redmi Note 7 Pro would be making its way soon.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to come with a Sony IMX 586 sensor instead of the Samsung GM1 Sensor on the current variant. There are no clear indications to the specs of the Redmi Note 7 Pro but Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has hinted that the phone could come with more storage on the Pro version.
Xiaomi CEO LeiJun Weibo post points to the fact that Redmi Note 7 Pro could come with 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage option. As if now the Redmi Note 7 comes in three variants of 3GB RAM+32GB storage, 4GB RAM+64GB storage version and a 6GB RAM+64GB version.
A post suggests that the company could ditch the 3GB RAM and 32GB variant in favour of a 6GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM+ 128GB variant.
As far as the specs of the Redmi Note 7 is concerned, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor, so we can presume that Redmi Note 7 Pro could come with more efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor.
