Samsung Galaxy A40 with Exynos 7885 and 25MP selfie camera up for pre-order

Samsung has announced its new phone under the A series called the Samsung Galaxy A40. The phone has been launched in the Netherlands and is up for pre-orders on Dutch online store Belsimpel.nl. The phone is expected to launch globally on 10th April.

Samsung Galaxy A40 specifications

According to the online listing on Belsimpel.nl. The Galaxy A40 sports a 5.9-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with 1080x2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is the octa-core Samsung Exynos 7885 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that can be expanded via microSD card. The phone comes with dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs on One UI on top of Android 9.0 Pie.

It comes with a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 lens and  5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle secondary camera, along with a 25 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Othe connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.2, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone measures 144.3x69.1x7.9mm in terms if dimensions and houses a 3,100mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy A40 price

The Samsung Galaxy A40 price is EUR 249 (Rs 19,500) in the Netherlands and is up for pre-order on Belsimpel.nl. The Galaxy A40 will be available in colour options of Black, Coral, Blue and White.
