Nubia, the sub-brand of ZTE has announced its new gaming smartphone in China called the Nubia Red Magic 2. The company had launched the Nubia Red Magic earlier this year, which was the company's first gaming smartphone that was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
Currently, the Nubia Red Magic 2 is up for crowdfunding from Jd.com, wherein the website says that it will continue to keep collecting money until it reaches 1,000,000 yuan, till 6th December. It already has crossed 2331540 yuan in a span of few hours. The company said that the users who take part in the crowdfunding will receive the phone by the end of the year.
Designed similar to its predecessor, the Nubia Red Magic 2 comes with major improvements over the previous smartphone. The smartphone comes with air triggers and is embedded with two touch sensors within the frame that the company calls Red Magic buttons.
Powering the Nubia Red Magic 2 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 854 processor that comes paired with 10GB LPDR4X RAM with up to 256GB UFS 2.1 flash storage. The device runs on Red Magic OS on top of Android 9.0 Pie and comes with a GameBoost button that tends to optimize the smartphone for a better gaming experience.
For keeping check of the smartphone temperature, the device comes with liquid cooling and air cooling that can reduce the temperature by up to 13.2 degrees and also increases the CPU performance by up to 70 percent. The Nubia Red Magic 2 also comes with 4D gaming performance with real-time game scene recognition, which vibrates in order to match more than 40 games scenes. For optimum audio quality, the phone comes with DTS 7.1 stereo speakers and 3D surround sound support. The Nubia Red Magic 2 is priced at CNY 3,888 (Rs 40,550 approx.), for the 10GB RAM and 256GB internal storage version.
However, the company has teased the earlier Nubia Red Magic in India that will be priced under Rs 30,000.
