MediaTek teases its new Helio P90 SoC with 'groundbreaking AI'

MediaTek shared the teaser for the Helio P90 on its official Twitter account, which suggests that this chip would be based on the 7nm FinFET process.

MediaTek teases its new Helio P90 SoC with 'groundbreaking AI'

MediaTek, the Taiwanese company that designs chips for mobile phones and other devices, recently unveiled the Helio P70 chipset that powers the Realme U1. Now the company is teasing its next high-end chipset called the Helio P90, which according to the company is the most powerful chip that they have ever designed.

The Helio P80 has not been announced officially, but there are rumours that suggest that this chip would be based on the 12nm manufacturing process. The Helio P80 would come on Oppo R19 that will be launching next year. 

The company has gone and shared the teaser for the Helio P90 on its official Twitter account, which suggests that this would be really efficient, powerful and will host groundbreaking AI (Artificial Intelligence) performance. It will be based on the 7nm FinFET process.

The upcoming Helio P90 like the other chipsets will come with aggressive pricing and might power on devices from companies like Xiaomi, Realme and Oppo. The launch date of the chip is not officially announced, but considering the tweet on the official page, we could expect it to launch before the end of 2018.
